The Mary A. Wickline house was built circa 1870. The house was located on land owned by Mary A. Wickline in 1884. According to the records, Wickline owned the house and 254 acres surrounding the house.
The house is located on Johns Creek Road. Johns Creek Road intersects State Route 141 one mile south of Waterloo, Ohio.
The structure is a two story house with a tin gable roof. The foundation is made from ashlar sandstone. Three bays are located on the front of the house. The house has a first and second story central entrance. The rectangular shaped building has a front porch and a balcony which runs across the entire front of the house. Flashboard is exterior of the house front and clapboard siding is used on the rest of the house. An interior end chimney is also present. A recent one story addition was built on the house. A corn crib or shed and a smoke house is believed to be apart of the original farm house is still standing.
