The Ironton Friend of the Library will be meeting in the Ironton Branch Meeting Room at 1 p.m. on April 13. Anyone interested in joining the Friends is welcome to attend. 

The Briggs Lawrence County Board of Trustees will convene a meeting of the Personnel Committee on Monday, April 18, at 11:30. This meeting will be held in the South Point Branch.

Local author, Marvin Schrebe, who writes under the name Chris Breva, will be selling and signing copies of his book, Tea Time, at the library.  Mr. Schrebe is a Parkersburg native but now lives in Barboursville.  His book is a collection of short stories that are no longer than a 1,000 words and cover a wide variety of topics.

The Ironton Friends of the Library will be hosting a Spring Book Sale at the Ironton Branch Library on May 13 and 14 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Donations of books can be dropped off at the Ironton Branch.
