Local author, Marvin Schrebe, who writes under the name Chris Breva, will be selling and signing copies of his book, Tea Time, at the library.  Mr. Schrebe is a Parkersburg native but now lives in Barboursville.  His book is a collection of short stories that are no longer than a 1,000 words and cover a wide variety of topics.

The Ironton Friends of the Library will be hosting a Spring Book Sale at the Ironton Branch Library on May 13 and 14 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Donations of books can be dropped off at the Ironton Branch.

We will be hosting a Community Fun Day at our South Point Library. This event is open to all ages. Participants can visit with the animals from The BARKer Farm petting zoo! We will also have inflatables and crafts for kids! The group, Kelley's Bridge will be providing music at 1pm. Bring your family and friends for some fun and discover what a wonderful resource our county has in its public library system!
